Pre-Trip Excitement

Hello! I just booked a Disney World trip for September with my husband and my parents. I am incredibly excited. My parents are also excited, but not nearly as much as me. I get that the trip is 7 long months away, but I'd like to see them on my level. Or at least close to it. I'm looking for suggestions of things to do before the trip to amp up the excitement factor. I have found countless ideas for kids online: make a daily countdown, create your own autograph book, color in Disney coloring books, etc. Do any of you have ideas for fun activities to do with adults before the trip?

I'm creating goodie bags complete with personalized Disney shirts and little goodies to give once the trip gets closer. I've also looked up some Disney World trivia to use in a Disney game night, but other than that I have nothing.

Anything you can suggest would be so helpful!

Not sure if this is helpful but I got a Disney countdown app on my phone. Everyday it displays a new picture and total number of days till your trip. My BF and I get up every morning to check the new picture lol. Seems silly but it reminds us that our trip is coming up.

I created a challenge for myself and one of my housemates joined in even though she's not going on the trip: I'm going to watch every theatrically released Disney animated movie before my trip. Not sure if I'd recommend you start that, though; my trip is also in September, I started my challenge over a month ago, and I'm having to do 3+ movies per week to avoid falling too far behind on it. Definitely enjoying it and getting amped up, though, especially now that the horrors of Home on the Range and Chicken Little are behind us. Maybe you could do something similar, but limit it to movies with attraction tie-ins?
