Pre-Thanksgiving Crowds

Thinking about Thanksgiving week for 2010, the good, bad and ugly please.

Oh thinking of Embassy suites for the extra space. Which one? Any tips or info on ES? Thanks

We just got back today. Were in the parks Sat evening through Tuesday (11/21-24th). It was very very crowded! We went the exact same days last year and it was MUCH busier this year. Maybe more schools have the whole week of Thanksgiving off now? Not sure.
We are going to WDW next year for the week of Thanksgiving for a big Grand Gathering - hoping it isn't that busy.

Echo Queen, we've been in California since Saturday and it has been crowded. However, we had 5 day passes and went back to our hotel every day so far for a 3 or 4 hour break with our little ones. Utilizing Fastpass, we've seen almost everything and we're on day 3 1/2. All that we have left to do tomorrow is the Subs, Pirate's Lair, and Alladin. I think if you use Hydroguy's fastpass tips, you can still have a really fun Thanksgiving Trip. We've been collecting them in the mornings and then using them after our breaks at night. The decorations are beautiful and we have had a lot of fun.

We were there on Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving, and we sailed into all the rides until well into the afternoon. We went to DCA in the afternoon and didn't have any significant waits there, either. It picked up in the evening, though, around the parade and Fantasmic shows. But for most of the day, the wait times weren't any longer than around 20-25 mins. It was another good day this year!

We had a Beach Day on Wednesday. Go figure we picked a lesser crowded park day for that.. I thought Thanksgiving Day and the day after were a little better than Monday and Tuesday.
