I have been talking with friends and thinking about it. Im going to college to work for Disney but I don't know what I need to get a degree in. I don't know what I want to do in disney. Any advice/recomendationson what to get a degree in from CMs past or present? the Disney.com doesn't give much insight.

Without knowing what you want to do, that's a pretty loaded question.

If you are going for an associate's degree, I would recommend something like gen ed or business as those are pretty broad.

If you are going for a bachelors, I would again recommend business administration or communications. Those are two of the broadest degrees that would both work for Disney.

If you have any idea on what type of job you want let us know and we can give you more direction.

Keep in mind that the vast majority of jobs only require a high school diploma. You will want the degree if you want to pursue middle or higher management.

Do you know what the middle or higher diploma would get you? ( what would your pay be?) I want a job that doesn't just 'get me by'. But I want something that can be fun too. Would you be more likely to get a job wit ha college degree?

Hospitality and Tourism are other majors that would be good for Disney... again, it just depends on what you want to do bc there is a very broad range of jobs within the company.

if you want something other than an hourly paid job (like salary), then you will most likely need to go to college. At minimum a 2 year degree
