Pre-purchasing Disney Dollars ?

The stores are no longer offering them. Last Sunday was the last day. You can only buy gift cards at the stores now. You can still get disney dollars at the parks.

Yes, sadly the Disney store does not sell them anymore :sad2: I was able to pick up some for my kids upcoming trip before they stopped selling them this past weekend. I did come up with this info that you can get them through mail order but you have to pay $10.00 for shipping and handling:

Order Disney Dollars by mail
Purchases by mail are available through Ticket Mail Order at:
Disneyland Resort
Ticket Mail Order
P.O. Box 61061
Anaheim, CA 92803-6161

In addition to the exact denomination requested, please include your
full name, mailing address, phone number, and a check or money order
(payable to DISNEYLAND® Resort for your purchase amount) plus $10.00 for
shipping and handling (Domestic orders only). Please allow a minimum of
7 business days for processing. Your order will be shipped via Federal
Express. International Guests should call (714) 781-4025 for ordering
instructions."

You may also order them through Walt Disney World Ticketing
WDW Ticketing
PO Box 10140,
Lake Buena Vista, FL 34736

Write a letter a list of how many ones, fives, and
tens, up to $650.00 and include $14.00 for shipping and handling

HTH!

I know! I bought 100 in ones last Saturday just to have them for future trips!!

Thanks! Looks like we need to decide if it's worthwhile to order by mail, or just purchase on arrival.

I am so sad. I didn't know this. I had planned on taking my kids allowance money the end of November and getting their dollars as a big surprise as to our upcoming trip that they don't know about.

Any advice on the giftcard note then? I wonder if getting them a giftcard would be a good idea? Kids don't realize dollar amounts on plastic though. I am just so so sad.

You could make up your own.

My just-turned 5 year old did VERY well with the birthday FunCard, which is a giftcard. I was shocked at how well he did with it, how he kept track and knew when it was almost "empty"...we did help him, of course, but I never would have thought he would do that well with something as abstract as a giftcard.

It will be how we budget his spending from now on.
