If I order tickets online through Universal....

1. Can I pick them up when I get there?

2. If I can pick them up, is there an "on call" window to go to?

3. Does it save any time over just purchasing them once at the park?

Thank you!

If you order through www.universalorlando.com you can use the print at home feature and you go straight to the turnstiles. Or you can use the kiosk pickup option which are located at the front entrance and each onsite hotel.

If you are purchasing multi-day tickets, they are cheaper getting them through undercovertourist.com

Ticket lines can be very long. I always advise purchasing in advance. The price is the same everywhere for one day tickets, though, if that is any concern.

So paying the $2.15 surcharge to print tickets, or pick up at kiosk, is worth the little extra money?

If so, would you recommend picking them up at a kiosk, or printing them at home?

Thank you!

Also, when does the park open? We'll be going to Islands of Adventure for the day.

i'd rather have a card than carry around a sheet of paper for the ticket.
i have read that some have had to exchange the print at home ticket sheet at guest services before.
if you have the print at home ticket, don't put it in your pocket on the water rides...........

the park opens at 9:00 to the public.
onsite hotel guests, an hour earlier.

I've seen people with the print at home option just fold it up and put it in a ziploc and shove it in a pocket. Cut off the parts that you don't need to make the paper smaller.

If you are going to exchange it, just do the kiosk version because the kiosk line is shorter than the guest services line where you would need to exchange it.

You can exchange the print at home tickets at Guest Services but they only like to do that if the paper is damaged or some other problem exists. They don't like to exchange it just because the ticket is the wrong size. Please keep that in mind.

Just putting it out there as a public service announcement. ;)

The print tickets worked fine, but didn't save us any time (still waited almost 40 minutes to get in).

I did put them in a ziplock bag just in case.

I also printed out an additional copy for everyone that we kept in the car, just in case they got too wet, etc.. You can print as many copies as you want from the pdf.

It saves you time from having to stand in line to purchase the tickets and then stand in line again to enter the park. So if you hadn't purchased the tickets ahead of time, how much time would you have spent from the time you got in the ticket line to park entrance?

Metro is correct. You can add another bunch of time to the 40 minutes if you would have had to stand at the ticket booth first.
