Pre-planning questions

Looking at going to DL in June 2006. Two questions that have already come up:

1. Transportation to Universal? We haven't been to Universal/CA since 1992, and that time we took a tour bus. Would prefer a direct shuttle... does SuperShuttle do this? Anything like the town car services in Orlando that I could schedule?

2. Any difference in crowd size between 1st week of June and 2nd week of June? I'd prefer the first week if it's less crowded, but due to dh's work schedule, he wants the 2nd week. If the difference isn't that big, I won't fight as much and we'll go the 2nd week. So basically need to know if it's a must to go the first week. We went to WDW June 3-11, 2004, and noticed that the crowds grew everyday, but I know east coast schools get out sooner than the west coast schools so I didn't know if DL would be the same, traffic wise.

There really is no crowd difference between the 1st and 2nd weeks of June. They are both CROWDED. It's summer time and the kids are out of school. Good thing you're planning well in advance! You should be able to see and do a lot!

As for the car situation, there are a few different shuttle services. If you're staying in an off-site hotel (aka, not the Paradise Peir, Disneyland hotel, or Grand Californian), call the front desk and ask. They'll be your best resource!
