Pre park opening no longer pre park opening

You mean that for a 9 am regular opening, everyone is allowed in at 8 am??? Sorry if I'm confused, I just never knew or witnessed getting in an hour before opening, but we haven't been in 2 years, so maybe it's changed. Sometimes Ive lucked out and gotten in a half hour early and heard later it was because of the capacity crowd.

MK only...they allow everyone onto Main Street beginning at 7:45-ish. Ropes are up to all the spokes going out into the park. It simply allows folks to clear security and the tap-stiles, cutting down on the congestion in that area. Everyone who doesn't have an ADR before opening is held at the Hub/Main Street until after opening ceremonies conclude.

Ha Ha you sound like me last week! I haven't been in four years so this was news to me too! Last time we were there at rope drop MK it was nuts, a crush of people out front so I think this is a great idea to get people in past security and tickets, more room to mill around and stake out your land of choice. :disrocks:

Yes, it changed over a year ago, for security reasons. The preshow in not outside above the train station. Now it's in front of the castle. They let everyone in the gates and out of harms way an hour before regular opening. ( not emh )
