Pre-Park Opening MK Plaza Breakfast question

In the past, I have always made a reservation for a pre-park opening breakfast at the Magic Kingdom to save some of the waiting outside the park before opening. We are going to WDW next week and I have a 8:00 a.m. Plaza reservation on a day when MK opens at 9:00 a.m. From what I am currently reading about the current MK opening procedures, guests are permitted in and held on Main Street in the park at 8:00 a.m. until the park opens at 9:00 a.m. Given this current opening procedure, is there really much benefit anymore to doing a pre-park breakfast?

No; you’ll be paying for an unnecessary breakfast while other guests are in the park shopping and lining up in the appropriate locations while they wait for the 9:00a opening.

Def. not at Plaza or Crystal Palace anymore. There still is generally an advantage at Be our Guest and CRT, if you can get out in time. In my opinion Plazaand Crystal Palace actually puts you at a disadvantage now... necessarily a huge one, but still a disadvantage.
