Despite staying up until midnight to book our FP+ the night they went live, my DH was still unable to get A&E. :( They are DD's favorite characters and she really wants to meet them. My alternate strategy is that we have an 8:15 BOG ADR on a 9:00 park opening day. Is it possible to get over to A&E after we are done at BOG and before the line gets too long? TIA.

There are 8 am BOG reservations. They are open for breakfast now.

I am interested in this too. We have 8:15am reservations one of our days, and hoping we can be in and out and in line before everyone else.

Erm... that's an 8 pm BOG reservation. There are no 8 AM BOG reservations

Sure there are! we have one too--breakfast at BOG is running until the middle of June as a test, although folks expect it to stick around as a permanent in-park breakfast option. OP, you'll have to hustle a bit, but this might be your best bet to see the sisters with a lower wait. A few tips: get to the par around 7:45, and when you get into the park head straight for the restaurant. Also, you should be able to pre-order your meal. This should shave some valuable time off your wait. Finally, I would aim to be out of the restaurant by 8:45--sometimes the rope drop is a few minutes before 9, and you don't want to get stuck behind the RD crowds.

I saw a post the other day, that they are letting people move from BOG into the carousel area until rope drop. When the park opens those people can make it to A&E before the crowd gets there. It is a popular new A&E strategy. I think if you eat fast and get out there before the park opens, you should be fine.

Plus you can pre order your breakfast now to ensure that you finish your meal in time

Get checked in as early as possible ( before 8:15) they should let you in and you can get through breakfast early enough to get to the holding area and make it to A&E ahead of the crowd.

Yes, we are going in June during the breakfast "test." ;)

Thanks for all the helpful tips!

This is our strategy for a&e as well.

8:15 bog reservation in the first week of June. Hoping to eat and head to the carousel waiting area.
