Pre-park opening ADR at BOG questions

Some friends have a pre-park opening reservation at Be Our Guest at 8:15am (park opens at 9am). What's the current procedure for being let into Fantasyland? I haven't done a pre-park opening reservation since Main Street opens at 8am. Also, can they still get into the restaurant at 8am (even though their reservation is 8:15am)? They want to rope drop SDMT, and would like an earlier start on their breakfast if that's possible. Thanks!!

Our experience was being let in at around 7:45. Depending on how busy the park is there may be a line for people with ADRs. Security will check for your name on the ADR list and then you’ll head to BOG. Just keep an eye out and watch the park hours for that morning as they may change and then having the PPO ADR is a waste. But if you can preorder your food for breakfast you can cut down on ordering time and get to 7DMT.

Thank you! When you say that security will check for your name, is this outside the park at the main entrance, or at the hub in front of the castle (in order to get into Fantasyland)? I'm not clear on whether everyone is let into Main Street at 7:45am, or just people with dining reservations. Thanks so much!

This is at the main gate where there’s a line that starts early with ppl waiting to get in with PPO ADRs. When you get to fantasyland/Hub there is no rope yet since the park isn’t open. When we walked back the crowd was all guests with ADRs only.

Not 100% sure on this but on a 9am opening day I would expect regular guests are let into the park closer to 830 for the castle show but I’m sure sure another poster could shed some more light on this. When we RD MK we usually get in around 845 on a 9am open but we’re not the early birds so I’m sure they’re allowed I’m earlier.

I just did PPO Crystal palace on Thursday. It was a day with a 9am opening and we had an 805 reservation. When we arrived they were funneling everyone with a reservation 915 or earlier to the left side of the checkin queue and everyone in that line was let in at 745.

We lingered on Main Street a bit. It seems they let in everyone else waiting for the main 9am opening shortly after the PPO crowd to shop/eat on Main Street.

The nice thing about having that 8:15 time is that right after breakfast, they can get in line for 7DMT since it is right next door. We had an 8:15 time, got there a little early, were seated at 8 and out by 8:50. Pre-ordered as well
