Hi,
I asked this on the dining forum the other day but didn’t receive any replies so I thought I’d try over here.

In MDE it has my children’s birthdays and calculates their ages automatically. They currently are 9, 6, and 2. We moved the dates of our trip from 4/1 to 8/22 at which point all 3 kids will be one year older than what MDE shows. One moves from 9 to 10 and another from 2 to 3.
I booked CRT and Hoop de due revue for August and both required pre-payment but used their current ages, not their ages as of August.
When I booked for April, I was charged 2 adults, 2 kids which was correct. When I changed it to August I was charged the same but I expected 3 adults and 2 kids.

My question is if I need to do something to fix that now or if they just charge the additional adult amount when we receive our bill at the restaurant?

thanks!

I'm sure they'll figure out that you owe more $. They will charge the prices based on the age at the time of the meal.

Both CRT and Hoop Dee Doo are prepay, which means you have already paid in full for the meals. You can leave it as it is, knowing your 10 year old would need to order from the kids meal and your two\three year old would "share" from others plates. Or, you could call Disney and fix the ages of your children and pay accordingly. Since you aren't going til August, you have plenty of time to rectify this. Please consider waiting a few weeks before calling.

The hosts at CRT and HDDR will not ask for ages - unless the 3 year old looks like a big 3 y.o. I am NOT saying to just not pay the difference/extra kid or to break the rules or anything like that. What I am saying is that the hosts will not notice - they are so busy and actually ask for 1 person in the party to check everyone in.

A few years ago I booked CRT for my nieces - and when I booked I completely blanked that one of them would turn 10 right before the trip. I did not even realize it until later in the trip, after the meal. I was not there for the meal (had done it once and that was enough ;)) but my DB never mentioned anyone asking them ages or paying extra (I had paid for it as a treat for the girls).

Thank you for the updates! It sounds like I can wait and just pay the difference at the restaurants without any issues.

Both kids are on the taller side for their ages and eat their fair share!
