Has anyone done this? We will be at the BWV in December and were thinking of having groceries pre-ordered and delivered upon our arrival. Is it a limited menu? Is it a lot more expensive?

We usually do a Grocery stop on our way from the Airport, but we have 2 kids now and thought it may be easier to just have them delivered.

We have pre-ordered before. There is a form available on the dvc member page which will show you the available choices available for purchase from the store at Boardwalk - yes it is limited, yes it is overpriced. You can fax the order form before you arrive and you call when you are checked in and they deliver it to you. We do it for milk, eggs, etc. but if you need much more than that, you may want to stop. We have also used netgrocer for baby items, cereal, etc. (anything nonperishable) and then just supplemented through what was available at Boardwalk. It really depends on what type of items you will be needing...

Like rombar, we have pre-ordered before. We have also stopped on the way to the resort and purchased groceries. It is more expensive to pre-order and the menu is somewhat limited, but you can't beat the convenience! I'd say it just depends on what you feel like doing. If you feel that you don't want to hassel with stopping off at a grocery store with the kids after your flight, by all means pre-order. :D

If it were me, I'd make the grocery run. Looking at the list off the member site, the prices are way too high.

I was looking at the lists on the DVC website.

We are going to VWL for 4 days in October. We are not renting a car and don't want to waste time trying to get a taxi to go to the supermarket.

I was just looking for some drinks for the refrigerator, for the evening and afternoons back in the room. There is juice on the VWL list but no soda. The OKW, BWV and BCV all have Sodas on their lists. Why is Wilderness different?

Thanks!!

I was wondering if anyone had any information about getting your groceries delivered when you don't arrive at the resort until late.

We'll be arriving at OKW around 10:30 PM, and would like to preorder groceries provided that we can get them delivered to the room the night that we arrive. Has anyone had any experience with getting a delivery that late?

Thanks!

Our grocery delivery service is We Go Shop. We deliver to WDW and the surrounding areas. We shop at the store that you want. If you fax or email us your grocery order with at least 24 hours notice, we will deliver it to your room. If your order is under $125, our fee is $12.50. If it is $125 or more, the fee is $20. We prefer to delivery after you arrive so we make sure your items get to you. You give us the time and we deliver it then. It's that simple.

If you have any further questions you can email to CentralFloridaShop@WeGoShop.com. Hope to see you soon!
