Pre order photopass cd and extra$15 off?

I was going to pre-order the photopass cd for $99, but saw a link that said save $15 on a photo pass cd using code cdsave15. I can't get it to work.

Anyone have luck with this?

I'm glad someone else asked this question. I tried and it didn't work, but I know there have been other deals out there, so I was holding off on the pre-order. We don't leave for a few weeks.

I don't think I ever heard of anyone using another code when pre-purchasing the CD. I have heard of people using one in their cart when getting ready to have their CD shipped AND ordering other items too and getting a discount off the whole shopping cart. But other than an isolated case with DVC members (long story), I don't recall anyone using another discount code on the pre-purchase.

I assume you are putting the code in in your shopping cart for the $99 pre-order CD and it's not taking it?

I used an extra discount code on a pre order last time we went. I called photopass and left a message. Hoping to get a call back tomorrow. I will post an outcome.

I have used a discount code w/ a pre-order CD back in the late spring of this year. Tons of people on the board were using a $20 or $25 off the pre-order making it either $75 or $80. the photopass website allowed it for awhile, but then changed it so that it wouldn't work anymore. Not sure if discount codes will work again, but it's worth it to ask around to see if others have been able to do it....

Yeah, I got a discount on the pre-purchase photopass cd, but not this time around. Looks like they put a stop to it.

I will say though, I'm still VERY happy with getting a $50 discount for pre-purchase!

Last year, they posted a discount on their facebook page. I believe that it was 25% off of a purchase. I was able to use it towards the $99 deal. It ended up being $75. This was sometime in November.

With the pre-order, you're really buying a coupon, not the CD so a discount code for the CD won't work. A percent off your entire order would work because the coupon is part of your order.

If the CD discount is still available when you go to actually order the CD then what will likely happen (I'm guessing and it's certainly worth trying) is that you'll have a $15 credit that can be used towards something else. I did this with a 20% discount. The discount code applied a $30 credit to my account (20% of $150) that I could then use towards something else. I ordered the WDW photo CD and with shipping I ended up paying something like $11-$12 (the credit went up with the addition of the CD because I got 20% off that as well).

So got my call from the photopass and the the $15.00 is only for purchase not pre order. It worked last may that was a glitch. They fixed it.
