Will guest services check you in on your flight online or call ahead 24 hrs. before disembarking.

Nope...but there are a few airlines that have desks set up at the port terminal (outside by the buses).....you may be able to check in there and drop your luggage before heading to the airport. We have done this a few times and sometimes we are offered an earlier flight than what we had booked with no extra charge. Same flight booked in advance would have been a lot more.

There is still some confusion if anyone can use this service or just people with DCL transfers....we get varying answers all the time from folks returning.

My understanding is that it's for people who are signed up for DCL transfers, but I might be wrong (that's what I heard on my last trip). Also, we couldn't check in until after 10 am for a 4 pm flight. The airline was able to take our bags at the port, but we had to check in once we arrived at the airport. Not a big deal, considering we were stuck for 6 hrs with nothing better to do.

We just returned on the 11/6 Magic. You do need to have purchased DCL transfers to gain access to the check-in area. They now have a CM who checks your KTTW Card to verify you've purchased transfers before allowing you to access the area.

Also, Guest Services won't check you in for your flight, but if you've purchased transfers and are on one of the airlines available at the port, there really is no need. The airlines at the port are: American, Delta, Continental, US Airways and Northwest. If you are on an airline not listed, you can check yourself in and print your boarding pass at the Internet Cafe on Deck 3. There is a $.75 per minute charge and a charge for printing as well.
