Winnie, I'm so sorry that you've lost your sister. I was just talking with a friend recently about life and the hills and valleys as you go through it. You store up your energy and strength on the hills so you'll make it in the valleys (your recent anniversary trip and then losing your sister). I hope you're doing well and are able to work you way back up the hill with happy memories of your sister.
Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. I am so very sorry to hear of your sister's passing. Truly heartbreaking. May the good Lord wrap his loving arms around you and hold you very dear to his heart.
Miss Winnie and Mr. Fred,
I am so sorry to hear about your sister. Remember they are never far away if you believe. Talk to her, she'll hear you. Many happy thoughts and loads of pixie dust to you.
It has been a week of emotional stretching and spiritual growth. But God is so good. I felt felt the love and compassion on this board, and so many family and friends I have nearby. It is truely amazing!
You just never can be sure how many lives you touch until something like this happens. It has been such a wonderful blessing in spite of the pain and loss I still feel. I look at her picture and still just cannot believe she is gone. I have not cried for 2 days...well, typing this so much for that!
But that's ok. My Pastor calls that "holy water". So I still have my wet moments. But most important I have some awesome memories of an awesome sissy. One of the best was that she went on her first cruise with me, and it was a Disney cruise!
Anyway, I just wanted to pop in and say thank you so much for every thought and remembrance.
