Prayers for unborn baby(Update)

I truly hate to ask for prayers because that usually means someone I love is suffering.
DH's cousin and his wife Merri are expecting their third child in May. They just found out that the baby has a serious heart defect. Where there are supposed to be two valves leaving the heart, their little boy only has one small one. The blood is not leaving the heart properly causing an enlarged heart which is not leaving enough room for the lungs to develope as they should. They have been given no information about what can be done if anything...except to be told that "it's very serious". They are going to Boston Children's Hospital (best place IMHO) this week to meet with a cardiologist who will hopefully give them some hope for their boy or at least some anwers as to what they can expect. They just left our house after crying with us...I just wish their waiting was over.
Please pray for their little boy and for them to have the strength to get through this, no matter what the outcome.

I will pray with all my heart for this little baby and his parents. This brings back so many memories because we went through the same thing (finding out our baby had a serious heart defect while I was still pregnant.)

Our daughter was diagnosed with hypoplastic left heart syndrome. She had a heart transplant when she was 6 weeks old and is now almost 14. It is scary and it is awful but it can be okay. Please keep us posted.

Oh how tragic. I truly cannot imagine their pain, sadness, and fear. My prayers are with them that God will give them peace and the strength to get through this.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Unfortunately, bad news was received today. The defect in the baby's heart is not repairable. There seems to be almost no lung developement at all. They were given two choices today...terminate or wait for nature to take its course. The baby will never make it to term and will likely die soon. My heart feels like its crushing. I just know the terrible pain they are feeling and wish I could make it stop. Please pray for them to be comforted by each other, their family, and their God.
