Prayers for student in LI

If anyone can add this girl to your thoughts and prayers maybe it will help her pull through. My daughter is a senior at Stony Brook and when she told me this I said a silent prayer. It just reminds you that in one second all can be lost. This is a parents worst nightmare and this student was only "walking to class"

This has happened here at UNH before, although more often than not they're hit by drunk drivers. A lot of my friends trust that people will stop and just walk out, but I've seen too much on the news; I don't trust them.
Prayers being said. It's such a sad thing, and what a bad time of year.

You are right, this is a reminder to please don't assume anything if a car is coming! This was a freak accident but they happen often.

Sadly, I just read the girl lost her life this morning.Thanks for all your prayers. May she rest in peace.

Prayers said for her family as well as for the driver. I've seen to many close calls at college campus's in my area.
