Prayers for my dad please

Been in the hospital since Wednesday. Pancreatitis. They want to do gall bladder surgery. They also found a 6 mm aneurysm in one of his arteries.....not the aorta (that ruptured in 1997 with a 2 & 1/2 inch blow out) but doctors want to repair it....said that one that big is likely to rupture within the year.

He is under VA care and the hospitals here are not VA so the VA wants to move him to Nashville for the surgeries. About 2 hours from us. The doctor here that repaired the blow out in 1997 is an excellent vascular surgeon and at that time was one of a handful that were trained to do that type procedure. Would really prefer for him to do it but dad doesn't want to just use his Medicare and pay the remainder. The only way the VA will approve for it to be done here is if Nashville doesn't have room for him.

DH is gone on active duty. Kids are in school. So if they move him to Nashville I probably won't be able to go stay - could probably go up for the surgery but would have to be back here same day - not a huge problem. Just lots of stress with trying to work out who can go be there with him etc.

Please pray for the whole situation - that God would just work it out the way that He sees best - and then help us work out the details we need to toward that end.
