I know everyone is praying for everyone in Haiti, but please remember Dr. David Hall, a former Hartford Hospital physician, who is missing. It was believed that he was seen after the earthquake but there is no confirmation yet.
Farmington Doctor Missing In Haiti
FARMINGTON - Dr. David Hall, a member of the Farmington-based nonprofit FaithCare, flew into Port-au-Prince shortly before the devastating earthquake Tuesday afternoon. He was scheduled to meet with a pastor at 4 p.m. to discuss a mission trip that FaithCare was planning to take in February.
Hall is now unaccounted for, says Barbara Grey, executive director of the organization, and remained so as of 4 p.m. Thursday.
FaithCare has heard reports through the grapevine that Hall was spotted after the earthquake, but they haven't received confirmation, Grey said. Members of the nonprofit have been on the Internet, sending e-mails and making phone calls trying to contact Hall or anyone close to him, but they haven't been able to get any information.
Hall's wife also hasn't heard from him, Grey said.
Hall, formerly of Hartford Hospital and now based in Fort Myers, Fla., is a 59-year-old survivor of five heart attacks, and his heart medication runs out Friday, Grey said. She has been sending photos of him to media outlets and to all their contacts in Haiti hoping someone will find him and send FaithCare confirmation that he is alive. __________
