Cody Vagle is the son of a good friend of ours from church. September 23rd, he lost his battle with huntingtons and is with the Lord. I'm asking for prayers for his family and for Cody, who can now be an Angel for all of us.
A Brief History
Cody Alexander Vagle was born on January 26, 1997. This is the day the Packers won the Super Bowl and may explain his love for watching football with his father Todd.
Todd and Cyndy first saw their son on September 23, 1999. Cody's social worker, Clori Salas, later wrote the story "How Cody found his Family". In the story she states that with Todd an Cyndy, Cody had at last discovered his 'Forever Family'.
Cody was baptized on Fathers Day, June 18 2000. In it he received the most precious gift that Todd and Cyndy could offer.
Cody's interests and experiences were varied and many. He particularly enjoyed his horse therapy, sitting behind the steering wheel of a semi-truck, observing fish, growling like a bear to wake up mom and dad, listening to music and watching those who performed it...especially at church.
On October 24, 2002, Cody helped welcome into his family a sister Alexia, and brother Aaron.
Four years to the day that Todd and Cyndy first saw their son, on the first day of fall September 23, 2003, God called Cody from this life into his eternal home.
He rests in Jesus' arms awaiting the day of the resurrection when God will raise his glorified body....sown in weakness but raised in Glory.
God's peace Cody, and prayers to your family.
