I am very, very sorry for your loss. My family went through similar tragedy when my uncle died of cancer in his early 40s, six months later his wife (my mother's only sister) took her life. They left two children; my cousins Wade and Lilly were only 13 and 16 at the time. Sometimes in life, grief and sorrow can be overwhelming, please don't feel like you're alone. Rely not on your own understanding but on HIS strength. Please let me know what I can do to help, may I write to your family to share if you want.
