Prayers and Pixie Dust Request

Today is the day we take DS 15 to the pediatric specialist at the university hospital. I just hope she can give us some answers or some clues as to what is wrong with Ds. His problems are not getting any better and just going on too long. I feel like I am in that show "House". At least this time I got the pediatrician to agree he needed to be seen by a specialist and the pediatrician agreed he had no idea what is wrong with ds but there is something definetely very wrong. TIA.

Well here is a little update. I guess we will know more next week. The dr. has ruled out that he does not have 2 diseases, so I guess that is good. Today I had to take him for blood work. They are doing 10 diffent kinds of tests on it. Everything from hormones, thyroid, kidney and liver etc. She thinks his taking steroids for so many years for his asthma has slowed down his growth to a year behind. She knows I pulled him off the one drug and she thinks it will take a year for his body to catch up, this is if nothing shows up in the blood work that is bad etc. She said he will be like 6-6 to 6-9 when he really starts to grow. I also have to take him for a bone x ray. That will tell her some more of the mystery.
