Prayers and PD Please - DH tested for Hepatitis - Updated, Tests Negative

DH had a physical earlier this week and based on those results, his doctor brought him in right away to test for Hepatitis B and C. DH is convinced he has it. He has had some of the symptoms - extended fatigue, flu-like feelings, etc.

However, as of 7 months ago, when I had a blood workup done for my pregnancy, I did not have Hepatitis. Also, I'd have no idea where he would get it.

Anyway, prayers and PD would be appreciated - it's going to be a long weekend, waiting for the results.

My friend has Hep. C. She got it from a blood transfusion after an accident. She had something like 80 different units transfused while she was in the hospital after the accident, and apparently 1 was tainted This was before they checked the blood supply so rigorously. Right now, she is undergoing a yearlong course of treatment (injections) that have the potential to cure her of the disease somehow I didn't think that there was really a cure for this disease, but she insists that that is what she is going through this all for. I just wanted to tell you that there is hope if your DH does have Hep. C.

Tests came back negative! His liver enzyme are still slightly elevate, but better than the original test. The Hep tests were both negative. (Also, just to be sure, I was tested when I was at the hospital on Wed. My tests were negative as well).
