Prayers and good thoughts needed for Pete's Mom

I hope she is feeling better this morning. Sending good thoughts to your family.

So glad they know what's going on.

Prayers, hugs, and pixie dust for Madeline, Pete, Walter, and the entire Werner family.

Pete,

My dad had this same issue last year. It scared us as well. He's adjusted his diet and stress level and seems to be doing a lot better now. Now if he would actually quit smoking like his doctor (and us) tell him!

Our prayers are with you,

Matt

Thanks Pete. ((((hugs))) to Mom and you, Walter and the whole family!!

Hi everyone,

I want to thank you all for your good wishes for my Mom. It appears as though she had whats known as a TIA or 'mini-stroke'. She has had two episodes similar to this in previous years. The difference this time is that she suffered three of them in rapid succession. The doctor admitted her to the hospital last night for observation and while she consented to it, she wasn't thrilled about it :) I'm on my way back to the hospital to see her now, and just wanted to extend my thanks to everyone for all the well wishes. I know she really appreciates it as well!

Thanks,
Pete

Oh Dear. It's best that she did stay in the hospital. That way if anything (God forbid) happen she can receive treatment quickly.

I will continue to pray for your mother and your family.

Sending prayers your way for your mom's quick and complete recovery. What a blessing that you were there and able to get her treatment so quickly!

Hope she's feeling good today. I'm so glad she's nearby so you can take care of her.

She was just a delight in December!

I hope all is well and I'm wishing Mom the best of health and adding her to daily prayers.

We are keeping Miss Madeline in our prayers. I am taking my 8th graders to our Adoration Chapel today for a prayer service and Miss Madeline will be remembered in our prayers.

I'm glad they were able to figure it out so quickly! I hope your mom got some rest in the hospital (not likely, I know) and that she leaves it with some peace of mind, knowing what the problem was/is and how to handle it if it happens again. Pete - I'm glad you're so close and can take care of your mom when she needs you!

Our elderly neighbor suffered one about a month ago! They were able to adjust all of her medications and she is doing better than before. She is in her 80s and still drives!

Best wishes!

Stay stong.

Much love to you and all your family.

I also am please to hear that she is NOT happy with her hospital "sleep over". I think it will provide her with sufficient motivation to do everything that the doctors recommend so that her stay will be ever so brief.

All my prayers for her quick recovery.

Prayers and pixie dust headed your way, Pete. We empathize. Susan's dad is in right now too. Stay positive!!

More prayers and pixie dust for you and your mom. My mom has had a couple of similar incidents and she didn't like to stay in the hospital either. They need persuading sometimes.
