Prayer or PD for DH's nephew please

Ok...the kid is kind of stupid. He drives a semi for a living. He does a great job at it.

Well, I just got an email from my FIL. It seems said child went out drinking on Saturday night with a friend. Kevin thought, ok, I am little drunk...actually a lot drunk. Had his friend drive.
Well...his friend was worse.
Here is part of what my FIL wrote:

Turns out the so called friend had
two DUI tickets and hadn't been to court yet and no drivers license. He
ran a stop sign and the police saw him and he tried to out-run the police
because of his record and rolled the car 3 times with no seat belts on
and Kevin was thrown into a ditch. No broken bones and some minor
scratches. Did think at first Kevin might have back injury. They kept him
over-nite in the hospital as his neck hurt and they wanted to be sure
before they released him. It was Kathy's car that she bought less then 2
months ago. A 1991 Grand Am. So she is back driving our car. Don't know
what Kevin will be driving. Kevin told the police he was driving and will
likely loose his job if he doesn't straighten up his story. Trying to
keep it straight for insurance claims as he was responsible for the car.
We're thankful he is still alive. He said he was never so scared in his
life and wishes he could turn back the clock. Said he had thought of
calling his mother but didn't want her to get out of bed to pick him up.

If any of you could find it in your heart to pray that this kid gets some brains soon, the whole family would appreciate it.

I can't tell you how many times this kid has done some dumb things...his younger brother, too.

My Dh and I just shake our heads.

I showed him the email and told him we are very lucky our kids have common sense.

Isn't it sad what dumb things kids do? I am sending prayers and pixie dust he sees the way to smarter days. I hope they make out okay. Please keep us posted.

I hope he realizes how lucky he is to have gotten this "second chance" at locating his common sense.
