a mini review:
I have to say I was skeptical that my DD13 would enjoy this.
We went yesterday 10/7 for her birthday.
But, wow! it was so special, the FGMIT (fairy godmothers in training) were so wonderful. DD13 has super curly hair and it's short. Alice her FGMIT worked her magic and when that hair piece was on, DD13 and everyone was amazed! She truley felt like a princess. The FGMIT are all so cute and talk in fairy speak, darn near the whole time. She asked DD13 what she puts in her hair, DD13 said "some green stuff". The FGMIT replied "oh you use crushed leaves too" it was so funny! She never let up :cool1:
All day she had people commenting on her hair. I highly recommend it. Well worth the 50$ it cost. She wants to do it again at Christmas time, I might have to join her! Lol

That's great to hear, we would like to do this with our DD's in December as well. Could you post a pic? Both my girls have very curly hair as well, I would love to see how they tamed it!

What was included in her $50 package? DD did this at WDW 2 years ago and her $50 package came with makeup (she got to keep the little compact of makeup), glittery stickers for her face, an updo with a hairpiece and a sash. Does that sound about right?

I would love to see pictures also! My dd turns 12 on our November trip and she would LOVE to do this! I kinda thought it would be too young for her though. :confused3
She also has wavy hair that is about chin length. Thankfully it isn't as frizzy as mine!:scared1: But it does still tangle quite easily.

I would love to see a picture too! My dd7 has super curly hair too. She has seen it and pictures and wants to do it, but Im a little nervous about it. I really want to do it for her, but she is so sensitive about her head. Im sure you moms of curly haired princess know how it goes!

We just did the BBB on 9/25. DD (almost 5) has curly hair and has a very sensitive head (she runs when she sees the brush). I was very worried, but they did a great job. They used a lot of hair gel to smooth her hair and brushed it very lightly. She was fine--and trust me she screams when I comb her hair! I am not sure how to post pics. Maybe I can get my husband to help me......

I am on my iPhone and still at DL thru Sunday. I will post pics and do my first trip report :goodvibes when I get back, we did so much this trip that was new for us! It's been great!
We just got in from the MTOTP :cool1: that was a blast too! :)
But to answer some questions ... I was surprised how much she got to keep. She had the sash which said Birthday Princess, the little sack that says BBB, the glitter jewels, nail polish, comb, brush, makeup palete, some pins to redo her hair oh and I bought a tiara. The whole thing with an AP discount was under 60$ ~49$ without tiara.
It's a great value for all the interaction during the process and the special attention they get throughout the day. :thumbsup2 the photopass photographers are all over the salon too. And for 29.95 you can add the special photo op with the props. We decided not to get that because we had to get to PatECakes birthday! Lol

Hey Lulu,

How did the balloons work out from F2? Have a great rest of your trip! :goodvibes

Hi Kayla's mom! They were/are fantastic! I am going to post pics of those too! :)
DD13 just flipped, she thought we were in someone else's room! :lmao: they had her favorite candies and 3 balloon bouquets, we are still living with them as I type! :rotfl2: a little freaky to wake up to! Haha

Great! Glad she liked them. :goodvibes

We took my 5yo Princess in June of this year, and I must say that though I was skeptical of the prices a first (after all, I didn't pay 50 for my wedding updo!) it was well worth the price. We took my mom and dad with us on that trip, and all had so much fun watching her enjoy herself that my oh-so-14 yo teenager succumbed to the pixie dust and had a Pop-Princess do done. They both won't let me do much to their hair and are always whining when I so much as brush it, but every little girl in the place sat quitely during their up-dos. That a lot of pins in a little head!!! I think the ambiance, the attention, the other-world setting that the Fairy Godmothers in training create is the difference. They are a wonderful staff.

I recommend considering the photo package as the girls sat in a life-size pumpkin carriage with the castle in the background and had very nice portraits taken. I justified the cost by saying I wouldn't take them to the portrait studio next month. :rolleyes1 It was an extra $25, but I love that carriage photo.

I'll upload my photos for BBB in a bit.

Where do I look to see what they offer? Also, what would be considered a Pop Princess do?

Would love:love: to see some pictures! Specifically of "older" girls (like over the age of 10).:thumbsup2
My dd will be 12 next month and wants to do this for her birthday. Trying to get an idea of what they do and would love to see some pictures!
TIA!:)

I want to upload some pics but I can't figure it out! :scared1:
I saw a thread a few months ago where someone explained how to work photobucket. I can't find it :( yikes, I love the pics cause it shows her before curly teenage girl and then poof princess! Lol
if anyone knows how and can explain in newbie terms I would appreciate it :goodvibes

Did you book your photo package when you made the reservations for BBB? I already have three reservations for my DD's and my DN in December. Would I call to see if I can add it on or can I just let them know while we're there that we would like the photos.

Also, is it $25 for each "princess" or for the group?
