Prairie restoration is underway!

Finally, after about 4 weeks of rain, they were able to get in here and do the spraying to kill the existing vegetation. Now I just hope the rain stays away today, so it wasn't for naught! The next step is to wait 2 weeks and then if they need to, they will spray again. I am hoping we can get it planted before June 20th, because after that date will be considered a fall planting, and they wont be able to plant until after August 15th. They don't plant in the heat of the summer.

I'm just excited we finally have something started!
