I have read information on the Disney site and here as well. Can someone who has done the Pirates and Princess party give me more details of what all includes and if it is worth it. I have a 8 y/o DS.

We went in August and it was great! They had dance party and different shows in each land. DS (4) loved seeing flounder and Sebastian out and about dancing. They had a little show in adventure land where people (Kids) were recruited to be part of Jasmine's Royal Guard. Every kid that got picked got a certificate. Everyone is given a treasure bag and treasure map so you can treasure hunt through the night. Some spots gave out candy, some gave out beads.

The fireworks and parade were phenomenal, worht the price of admission itself.

There were no waits for any ride. Everyride was a walk-n. With your P & P Party tix you can get into the magic kingdom at 4:00. We arrived around 4:15, got our wrist bands and had a 4:30 ADR at CRT. This worked out great, becasue when we got out of there most of the people who were not staying for the party had left or were leaving so the crowds were really light even before the party started.

The bigest crowd you will see is for the meet & greet with Capt. Jack, so my suggestion for this would be to go there 1st. I heard some people say they waited almost 2 hours to met him:scared1:

If you are planning to go, I would not go to a park during the day and just enter the MK at 4:00. The park was open until Midnight and my 4 yo stayed awake for the whole thing. We are definitely planning to go again if they offer it.

Hope this helps.

Janet

Great-thanks for the information. It sounds like a lot of fun. Anyone know what dates it will be available in 2008?

Hi MinnieNurse! 2008 dates haven't been released yet, so keep your eyes glued to the DIS to see if it's offered for next year.
