PPO Tusker and Pandora

would a PPO Tusker House reservation have any benefit for Pandora? We have it booked already for August but if we'd be better off heading to pandora right at rope drop we would maybe reschedule it for later in the morning and make it more of a brunch to keep us full til a dinner time snack.

Definitely reschedule it. You'll be in the wrong place for Pandora entry. As of Friday, when we were there, they were letting everyone through the main gates 45 minutes before park opening and we lined up at the Pandora bridge entrance near Tiffins right away. Best to just get in there to Pandora early! You'll be thrilled you did...it's wonderful!

We won't know until after July 4th, as the current hours have AK opening at 8am everyday.

I don't like hoarding ADRs, but I am holding onto a PPO and late breakfast because I'm just not sure what we want to do.

I don't like hoarding either. And I don't have a late one booked yet so may have to do some work to find one. But I may hold on to both for now until it gets closer to know more.

I thought I read somewhere that there is a back entrance to Pandora over by Tusker House or FOTL. Is that right? If so, can you enter that way first thing in the morning after an early Tusker breakfast?

I think that is being used as exit only right now.... but who knows.... might change by August?

I would think when they switch to 9 am openings, if they let the Tusker PPO people in through the Africa entrance, they would run smack into the RD crowd coming the other direction. Might get ugly!

It would only work if they walked the Tusker people in earlier than they walk the RD people. But, that might be ridiculously early for a character buffet.
