Has anyone recently had a PPO breakfast at Be Our Guest and then rode SDMT? I'm going July 26th with an 8:00 on a day the park opens at 9 with no EMM. I'm HOPING to be able to ride Seven Dwarfs (just once) and then get in line for PP without waiting forever and a day. But I know that at times, especially with EMM they have been holding the people from breakfast until the rope drop crowds are arriving. Any recent experiences? I haven't heard much since maybe April?

We were there 2 weeks ago. Rode SDMT 2 times before the rode drop crowd arrived.
Thank you! That keeps me hopeful my plan will work. I'm going with a large group that includes my sister who is in a wheelchair and her daughter. I like PPOs because she can avoid the rope drop crush and not be too far behind everyone. She cannot ride PP but I plan to take her daughter for her and didn't want to be stuck in a super long line after riding SDMT

I have done this about 5 times and think I have not had the best luck because while we have been able to walk right on SDMT, which is great, by the time we get off the ride the line has been out of the regular waiting area/45+ minutes posted wait, and then running over to PP the wait is 30 minutes or more. So I guess it just depends on when they let people on SDMT - for me, it has always been at like 8:55, but others have gotten 8:50 or 8:45.

I plan to be super flexible and skipping PP isn't the end of the world. :) Just wondered what the current trend was. Things change at a pace that I can't seem to keep up with!

We were there mid-May. Had first seating at BOG and pre-ordered our food. Ate, took pictures, then joined the queue for SDMT. Rode it once (had FP+ for later), then joined the queue behind the CM for PP. Got led right to PP as the park was declared open. Great start to the day! But if they have the ticketed EMM going on, you're not getting on earlier than park open.

Although I think my favorite thing about that was all the pictures I took of a practically empty park!:)

We did PPO last May and rode 7DMT twice before the crowd...and then headed to PP. Then in Nov, we tried again and 7DMT was down....so, we got in PP line. Just go into it knowing it may not work.
Make sure everyone pre-orders their food or it will take longer.

Did PPO BoG yesterday. They started lining up the queue around 8:15, but it didn't start at the entrance - rather they held the line around the corner near the pathway into BoG. They didn't start leading us to the ride until 8:55am. We definitely had a jump on the rope drop crowd that were held at the Hub, but it's not like we were able to ride it back to back without any wait.

We are doing this - 9 days and counting!! What time would you say we should aim to be done eating and looking for the line? It is a 9am opening day with no EMH

If you check out touring plans YouTube page the girl (I can’t remember her name sorry) did a video to see how many main attractions she could do after a BOG breakfast without waiting in lines. She was very successful!

We have a group of 5 with PPO reservations next week solely to get the early jump on SDMT. We’ve had success in the past, however we have always all eaten the breakfast. This time, half my group does not want to eat because of the cost. Do they allow half the party to just have some coffee and not order food?

Yes, folks can just get a coffee or a cupcake or nothing, if they'd like.
