I got a ressie for 8:45 am. What time will we be allowed in to the MK? It's for the 1st week October so I am assuming a 9 am park opening.

When we were there in May, they were letting people with ADRs in between 7:45 and 7:50. We rolled up to security at 8 and were checked in for our 8:35 ADR by 8:10. Food was at the table by 8:20.

Did you mean "between 7:45 and 8:50?"
Nope. If you had any PPO ADR you were allowed in the park before 8am. Everyone with a ticket is allowed to go all the way to the hub at 8 these days. If you had any sort of PPO BOG ADR you were allowed to check in to the restaurant before your reservation if you wished.

So, if things stay the same all the way until October, OP will be able to enter the park as early as 7:50 using the tapstiles on the far left, walk up Main Street, head to the cast member with the "breakfast reservations here' sign, follow the CM's directions & have MB scanned and then check into BOG as early as 8:05, even for a 8:45am ADR. Again, this is all based on things staying the same as they were in May.

I think I may have misunderstood you...

Did you mean "people with an ADR time between 7:45 and 7:50 were allowed in early"
Or
Did you mean "people with a PPO ADR (for any PPO time) were allowed in between 7:45-7:50"

I originally thought you mean the former, but after your response, I think it was the latter.

I had thought the question you were responding to was, "what ADR times will allow me to go to BOG at 8:00" i.e. what is the cutoff for getting the PPO benefit, and having to wait for rope drop to get to BOG?

Three weeks ago, they were allowing everyone with an ADR before park opening time of 9:00 to enter into the park at 7:45, fifteen minutes before 8:00 when anyone can enter Main Street only. The entrance is to your far left. Our MB were scanned and we were given a slip of paper to show the person at the hub so we would be allowed to proceed to the castle for our BOG. There were three CMs leading to the different restaurants. Our time was 8:00 and we were let in immediately. We were in fact the first family and got to open the castle and were treated like royalty. VERY cool. I have heard that they seat according to arrival and not ADR times but I do not know if this is true. We had pre-ordered so we skipped that line. Absolutely preorder! Our food was there within a few minutes. If was good and plentiful. We were done before 8:30 so walked out to the FP line for SDMT. We asked about the early ride and the CM stayed it isnever guaranteed but to going ahead and get in line. We were the second people in line. About 7:45 they let us on. Upon exit we could have jumped back in line but decided to head to PP. they held us till about 8:55 and we road it before the rope drop. We were then in position to head to adventure land to start our day. It was perfect and so worth the credit we used for breakfast. We did keep looking for an 8:00 time as were were not sure if they would seat by time or not.
