PPH Early Check-in

Does anybody know what's the earliest time that one can go to PPH and check-in? We don't need the room early, just want to drop off our luggage with the bell hop, park our rent a car there and check-in @ 6:30 or 7:00AM , so we can take advantage of MM on our first Sunday there. Thanks!

Anytime! You can walk in at midnight if that's what you want to do! I have checked in at 6:30 a.m.-ish before. This past December I checked in before sunrise (before 6 a.m.)! In fact, I ended up watching the sunrise from my PPH room window. My room just happened to be ready then so I didn't need to leave my bags at the Bell desk, but I could have done that if I'd needed to because the Bell staff was there, ready to take my bags.

It was great because there was nobody else in line and I could get all of my paperwork and payments handled without worrying about taking too much time and holding up other people.

I used my MM that same morning, which was also a Sunday, just like you plan to do!

I love early check-ins! For me, the earlier, the better! I hate getting there when there is a long line of people in front of me and behind me!

This past December I checked in before sunrise (before 6 a.m.)! In fact, I ended up watching the sunrise from my PPH room window. My room just happened to be ready then so I didn't need to leave my bags at the Bell desk, but I could have done that if I'd needed to because the Bell staff was there, ready to take my bags.

Thanks for sharing, Sherry. I had similar questions, because of wanting to take advantage of every MM possible. And frankly, hearing that there is bellhop waiting to serve at 6am makes me feel a bit better about the "Disney surcharge" in the room price!

I was a little suspicious as to whether there were any Bellhops around when I first walked into the lobby before 6 a.m. I didn't know my room would be ready. So I looked at the Bell desk to see if anyone was there and I didn't see anyone. But the CM at the front desk who checked me in told me that the Bell guys were in the back room somewhere, hiding. He said that someone was there all the time and that they would have come out to store my bags if I had needed it. As I was leaving the front desk and getting ready to wheel my luggage to the elevator, I saw a Bell guy emerge from the back room and look at me, wondering if I would need his help.

So, yes, they are there - they may be hiding, but they are there!

Just be aware that your room may not be ready at early hours. Some folks luck out others do not.

I've checked into the PPH twice on EARLY sunday mornings. It's as others above mentioned. Very easy & uncrowded to check in & we left my bags with the bellcap right there.

Note: I would always try to arrive 75-90 min. BEFORE MM starts. (15 min. to check in & 15 min. to stroll thru the GCH & to the security turnstiles..... arriving approx. 40 min. prior to MM opening)
