PPH Concierge?

I recall reading somewhere a long time ago that when you check in at a Disney hotel you can request and 'on the spot' upgrade to Concierge. Is this still true? What does it cost?

Yes you can do this. If rooms are available it can cost the difference between your room and a concierge level room.
