For those who have stayed there, is it obvious where we go to check-in upon arrival? We tend to arrive during the insane check-out period of ~10 am each trip... I am looking forward to staying concierge because maybe it will be less crazed?

Also, do you think that they could give a glass of wine or beer earlier in the day for me to save for the evening when the the concierge lounge is closed? I don't anticipate really being able to take advantage of the wine & cheese time since they close the lounge so early... so I am curious if I could get a glass of wine/beer beforehand?

Any other PPH concierge tips?

TIA!

When you get to PPH, go to the second floor - the concierge check-in is there at the concierge lounge. There is a door and sign - it is right by the glass elevator door. The door is locked, so knock loudly and wait, someone will open the door for you and then just tell them you are checking in. (We were told to go up to that floor/door to check-in, but when we got up there, we timidly knocked, no one answered, so we trooped back downstairs to check-in the "regular" way. All went fine, but we were a bit disappointed, lol. We never found the concierge lounge crowded, even at breakfast, so check-in should be a breeze, especially that time of day.

AS far as the wine ahead of time, not sure. I do know you can get wine/beer during the normal cocktail hour to take back to your room (for the next day or whatever)....in wouldn't hurt to ask - the CMS are soooo nice there and as accommodating as they can be.

Tips: get a movie to watch in the room - they are free. You can load up plates of food to take back to the room - we did with desserts in case we didn't make it back the next night and snacks for the park. Ask for milk and water - they'll give you plenty! I think we drank the price of the concierge upgrade in milk and water - what a huge savings.

Have a great time - it was so fun to be spoiled.

Thanks so much!!! We'll be up at 4 am to drive to the airport and catch our flight... I want everything to go smoothly as I know we will be running on pure adrenaline!! :thumbsup2

Looks like we will be spending a few days at the same place, overlapping trips as it were. We are at PPH concierge Oct 9-16, so there will be a couple days when we might run into each other. Our kids are older (11 and 13), but I know our daughter will love meeting Abby.

I appreciate you asking this question, since I had assumed there would be a special line like I saw at DLH. Now I know where to go when we are checking in at the same insane check-out time (about 10am).

We just may bump into eachother! I am really getting excited for the trip... and wish I could let Abby in on it, but it is much better as a surprise! :wizard:
