We'll be staying at Pieradise Pier next week, and being WDW vets, I didn't think about our luggage on our check-out day. We're taking the Disneyland Express back to LAX, but we won't need to catch it until around 3, will the hotel hold our luggage for us?

Also, how will we know what time the bus is scheduled to pick us up at the hotel; does it just run continuously like it does from LAX to PP, or do I need to set up a time with them?

One more thing, anyone familiar with LAX? We'll have a little over 2 hours to kill at the airport. One person from our party leaves a little over 2 hours before our flight, but we're all on the same bus voucher, so we'll have a lot of extra time at LAX. We're flying SW, which I think is terminal 1, if that makes any difference. TIA!

Bell services will hold your bags. We have done this on our last two trips.

The hotels will definitely hold your bags. In August we did not leave until the last bus left that evening and the baggage was fine. Ask the front desk when the bus will pick you up. It stops at the 3 Disney Hotels; I think the first stop is the PPH, then the GCH, then the DLH...which is the main stop. The front desk can tell you the exact time. It is usually hourly, so don't miss it.

We were very happy with the bus; we go to DLR every year and this was our first try with the Disneyland Express. As for LAX, I am not a fan of that place and only go there if the price is much cheaper than SNA, SAN, LGB, BUR,or ONT. There is not much to do at LAX at all and the lines are long for check in and the full body scans.

There's a nice PDF on the Grayline website for Disneyland Resort Express that gives the timeframe of pickups.

When you're there, I would ask them about letting the one person go at a different time, if that's acceptable. While I enjoy many airports and willingly go there early, LAX is NOT an airport I can hang out in for long. I call it "pods", and you can only really go to your "pod". And there's not much in each pod, IMO, to amuse you while waiting.

We stayed at the Disneyland hotel the night prior to a cruise. Of course we went to Disneyland that day. A week later we get off the wonder and had a long time till our 7pm flight out of Ontario. They held our bags through that day because we just got off the ship and had spent the night there the week prior. This made it very nice to kill time around downtown Disney instead of at the airport .
