If I had the SOLE winning ticket of the last 1.5 billion dollar jackpot POWERBALL...you know what I could actually consider making happen? Disneyland CANADA. LOL!!!

If the adjusted price of the cost of Disneyland was around 150 million dollars, I could spend double that and STILL have money to burn. LOL!!!

Course winters would be a problem, but perhaps the idea of a FROZEN theme land with real snow might make up for that hahahaha.

If it can happen in other countries that don't have year round sunny weather (Disneyland Paris) I don't see what's so inconceivable about the idea of making a Disneyland in Canada. :)

I wonder what the imagineers could come up with, in regards to attractions that are "Disney" but still have that touch of Canadian flavour.

I could see more of a Rapunzel's castle, since hers was more located in a forest, which Canada has an abundance of. Or - the Frozen castle.

I'm sure they could capitalize on Niagra Falls in some way with a ride.

If in southern Ontario, I could see having an operating season of May 1 through end of October (just in time for Halloween party), and then do a weekends only season from November through spring, with a heavy Frozen theme, complete with bobsled rides, skating etc... but also operating as many rides as possible, similar to what Santa's Village does in New Hampshire, offering the Christmas parties etc... They could build an indoor water park that could be operational year round.

However, I would look at Disneyland Canada even if I hadn't been the sole winner! With 550 million in my pocket, I'd be more than happy to dish up half of that to build Disney Canada, lol.

Would have to be somewhere like southern BC or Ontario where it stays warm most of the year...Vancouver area would be awesome because they don't get much snow, but then real estate is mega $$$. Operating costs would be too high otherwise to only have a park opened part year and no way would Disney entertain that lol.

While no or little now would be a concern, I would actually want DisCan to make use of colder weather and possibly snow..at least a small portion of it. Jus off the top of my head I was thinking of a FROZEN themed family roller coaster where some part of it goes outside. I was even thinking it might be some sort of "all weather" coaster where they would eventually end up in some scene where an animatronic OLAF greets you but also reacts with the current weather.
"Yay Summer!!!"
"I love all this falling snow!!!"
"Kinda wet out today huh?"
Just a thought.

I wonder if most of the park would have to work as an indoor park.
