I am going to the evening school for getting my a-level since august.
For the english classes, everyone has to make a presentation.

Mine is - oh surprise - about Disney World.

I want to show my class how to spend a vacation at a magical place.

I want to say a lot about the parks for sure and about the resorts. My problem is, I don't have a lot resort photos. I wanted to ask you on here if you could give me the permission to use your pictures.

I need pictures of each hotel in total. I mean where my class can see how the hotels do look like. I don't want to show them 20 pictures for each hotel, just 2 or 3 from wich they can get a first impression and I can say a few sentences to each one (for example Grand Floridian - very luxury, Victorian style and so on).

If anyone has a picture which I am allowed to use, it would be so nice if you could send it to me by email or put in in this thread.
I can send you the presentation when I am ready with it and I will take disboards and your username in the source in the end of the presentation if that's ok for you.

I am so excited to make a presentation about WDW and I hope you can send me some pictures.

I will show and tell them the most breathtaking attractions like TOT or Soarin', the Transportation system, the variety of restaurants and some history about WDW.

What do you think I definetly should say in this presentation?
What not to say?

Maybe anyone has a good shot of some major attraction, I would be very pleased If you could send it to me, too.

Thanks in advance and greetings from Germany

Have you used Google Images? there are usually a lot of pictures of just about everything on there.

Also what about the actual Disneyworld site. I'm pretty sure they have photos of every hotel on there.

How long is your presentation? I did one for work (it was training for public speaking) and my only problem was that I had too much to say for my time constraint :rotfl:

Just something to think about!

I tried, also found some, but often they are not big enough or sometimes there are copyright logos on it.

I've seen here some great shots by users in some threads in the past. That's what I am looking for. Authentic pictures, no edited things.

:rotfl2: My 9 year old was making a power point on this very thing last night!!:lmao: He googled pictures and used some of ours too.

I will look through and see what I have that could help you. :)

First, a word of advice... you are not going to be graded on your Powerpoint. You are going to be graded on your presentation of your Powerpoint. It's an English class, not a marketing or graphics design class.
So don't obsess about getting the perfect images for your Powerpoint. Spend much, much more time thinking about what you want to say, and practicing it.

Now, here's how to find some images on the Internet that you can use without violating copyright laws:

Do a Google Image search for something like Disneyworld resort, or Magic Kingdom. On your results page, just under the Search button, you'll see a button for Advanced Image Search. Click on it to open the Advanced Image Search dialogue box.

Near the bottom of the dialogue box, one of the filters is Usage Rights. The default is "not filtered by license." Click on the arrow just to the right of "not filtered by license" to pull down more options. Click on "labelled for reuse."

Then go back to the top right of the dialogue box and click "Google Search"
It will re-do your original search, returning only images that are within a Creative Commons license of some sort.

Good luck!
