When do they usually announce these dates? In 2008 part of March was included. In 2009 no March dates. What about March 2010? Any guesses?

More than likely they will be out later next year but I think it would be about the same as 2009

I wouldn't expect the 2010 dates to be out until after Jan. 1st 2009. That would be the date when someone purchasing a power pass would need the dates.

can somebody explain to me the difference between the power pass and the preferred annual pass. 12 months unlimited admission compare to 365 days unlimited. whats the difference?
thanks

thanks.. i understand the benefits and discount... but why does the power pass states 12 months where as the preferred and premiere states 365 days. Does it have anything to do with and 365 days starts when you first use it ( like the disney AP) as oppose to 12 months starts the dat you purchase the power pass.

the preferred pass date starts when you first use it.
that activation date is good for the 365 days that follow.

my date for my ap is in april each year.

it is valid from the date you buy it not by the calendar year.

12 months is how long the Power pass lasts. But in that 12 months you can't go everyday of the year as it has blackout days.

The Preferred is also a 12 month pass but it is good everyday of the year, thus 365 days.

Both passes start on the first day that you use them.

thanks... i purchased my Power pass back in sept. - so i thought it starts in sept. and expires the following sept. - where as the premiere starts when you activate. Good thing that it start when first use.. perfect... thanks

I will wait patiently for January to come. Hopefully APH rate for the hotels will be out for March by then.

Another question please. There is a $40 off preferred annual pass available on the Universal site. Is this only good for Florida residents?
