That worked - the clue was from the chapter I just re-read last night.

I'm in! Hopefully, still waiting for a confirmation email, but I heard that takes a little while.

I registered on the first day and it took an hour or so to get my email. Don't worry. I'm sure that you are fine.

My family of four registered about the same time as you this morning. Two of us got our emails pretty much right away. My wife's came about 30 minutes later. Last I heard my daughter hasn't gotten hers yet...

has anyone heard about a time for tomorrow? Since i am in the U.S I keep sleeping through the time period each day because of how early it is over here. i was just wondering the time so i can set my alarm to make sure i get up on time.

I *think* it's been about an hour later each day.

Of course, I don't have an account, so take that with a grain of salt.

Should be 6:00 ish tomorrow if that's right.

I registered with 2 different email addresses on night (day?) 2. Both were yahoo accounts. I only got one verification email (the account I never use!). They say yahoo accounts take longer for the email to come, but I'm thinking some still get lost.

I got in this morning and was too late once I thought about putting DH in! I will just try again tomorrow for him and DD11! I ran down and got Azkaban this morning when I saw the question! Then I struggled to levitate the quill! I'm so excited! Glad that they are spreading out the times!

I got in on day 2. About a half hour from what I gather that the clue came online! Got my conformation email and finishe the process like 30 minues later. I am RoseWolfsbane83! Cant wait to check the site out!

DD got in this morning around 6:30am EST. Then she crashed on the couch until a few minutes ago and when she go up her email was there. She is so excited . I am just glad she doesn't need to get up at 4am again. Going to be a long cranky day, and I am taking her to get her learner's permit when she gets out of the shower. I told her this is practice for college-- taking an important test after a night of very little sleep!

For those who received the Registration/Validation email and are waiting for the second, site entry email (which may take a couple of weeks due to controlling the number of beta testers), click on the "Magical Quill Terms and Conditions" link in the first email. It brings up an interesting FAQ about Pottermore with some information that I had not seen before. (e.g., virtual shops in Diagon Alley, Galleons, House Points, etc.).

What does that mean? Is today closed, or does it go by England time and Day 4 will be open later today?

Each day has been "opening" roughly one hour later than the previous day. Being on Central time here in WI, today's opened around 5am. That said, tomorrow's should be around 6am, Central time. It appears to close quickly, so my advice is to log on as early as you can and solve the clue! Good luck!

Registration was still open at 6.55 EST this morning when I remembered to wake up - of course it wasn't still open 2 minutes later when I had my answer ready Looks like I'll be trying again tomorrow...

For those who have managed to get in, I noticed people talking about levitating the quill - huh? I thought you just typed in the answer to the question, is that not it? I'm thinking if there is more to it, I need to have the computer on, I've been trying on my phone.

Read this https://www.pottermore.com/en/help#magical-quill BEFORE the clue is revealed, or you'll be going around in circles trying to figure it out!

Tomorrow's clue is supposed to be easier than the first 3 days, and it should come from Goblet of Fire.

When you type in the correct answer, you will be taken to a different site. The Magical Quill appears in a small box at the top right of the page. You may need to turn off any ad blockers you have on your internet connection so it will be visible.

The levitating is a bit annoying. Just move your cursor back and forth under the quill until it levitates. Once the quill levitates, there will be a continuation link that you can click to get to the registration page. Muggle fans are estimating the time for tomorrow (4th day) will be 7:00 A.M. EDT (based on the 4:00, 5:00, 6:00 sequence of the first three days). No guarantee on that however. Good luck!
