Day 2 registration is now closed.

Got my DD up as soon as I saw the registration was open (that was about 6:30 am our time, 5:30 Eastern). She got in and registered, and then when I tried for me, it was already closed!

Sniff, sniff. The sacrifices we make for our children.

Grr. Registered myself and my son. His confirmation email came first, and we confirmed registration.

My email came shortly after (even though I registered first), clicked the link in the email and got the message "Sorry, there was a problem with the registration process. Please try again. Please create a new Pottermore account. This should only take a minute or so."

Of course, too late to create another one. So now DS (who really didn't care one way or the other) has an account and I (who REALLY wanted it) have to try again tomorrow.

Grr.

I figured that it would probably open on the hour, so I set my alarm for five minutes before each one and tried all night. Since my AC went out on Saturday night (fixed today), my living room was the coolest room in the house so I just slept on the couch with the laptop.

I didn't even know this was happening. I knew about Pottermore, but I didn't get any notice about this. Oh well. I'll do it tonight. I'm going to be up all night anyway (exam tomorrow that I haven't studied for) so it's no big deal. I'll just check every hour or so.

I did the same thing Thought I was gonna go crazy around 4 am but when I woke at 5 and hit the refresh button it was all worth it DD and I both got accounts. The page where we had to find the magic quill threw us off a bit though because it was different than the one people had posted on youtube from day 1 and looked like it was just the regular Warner Brothers page for the new movie. I wonder what they'll do next.

Be sure to keep Book 3 and a calculator handy for the next one. Good luck to all who are still trying to get in!

has anyone heard about a time for tomorrow? Since i am in the U.S I keep sleeping through the time period each day because of how early it is over here. i was just wondering the time so i can set my alarm to make sure i get up on time.

The time is unknown and varies though it hasn't been earlier than 9am England time. (3am central time in America).

I'm going to try for one more night.

I stayed up until 2am my time and decided it would be morning before it opened. I thought they would vary it by many hours, not one.

I got up at 5:30am and missed it again.

Going to do the wake up on the hour strategy tonight. After that my kids can wait until October.

I'm in! Yay! (My DD got in yesterday, and after she was done, registration was already closed). Had to levitate a quill, and my hand was shaking on the mouse so much it took me 3 tries.
