Ok, I might be blowing this a little out of preportion but oh well. I've searched on at least ten different menu's from all over the WDW theme park and I CAN NOT find one restaurant that serves Dr. Pepper. :badpc: :furious: :guilty:

So is my conclusion correct that in the World of Walt Disney.... Dr. Pepper does not exist!?

Please somebody let me know what is going on!!!!!!!!!! :wave2:

Nope no Dr. Pepper. Disney is Coke products only. Dr. Pepper is Pepsi I believe.

Melissa

Your assumption is correct, there is NO DP there, only nasty Coke products.

You'll have to buy it at the store and bring it. At least it's Coke though, and not that horrible Pepsi! :-)

I can tell you that I don't think they see DP AT ALL in central Florida - I've only ever seen Mr. Pibb there (yuk). I'm sorry. :guilty:

Acutally, Pepsi does not own DP. It originally comes from Waco, Texas and is the worlds oldest major soft drink.

Just thought I'd share! :)

Yep.. and if you're looking for Mountain Dew, you're outta luck there, too!

We always stop and buy a case on our way in!

I do not plan on having a rental car. My plan is just to get off the plane, take the shuttel to WDW, stay the whole time at WDW without leaving, then back on the plane and gone. So... should I pack some Dr. Pepper in my carry on?

You can acutually ship some down and have it waiting for you when you arrive. Or you can check out a grocery delivery service like goods to go.com and they can bring you some!

I'm a TX girl and obviously a DP fan and I bring my own to WDW (get it offsite from a Publix or something). And I have found a handful of places in Orlando that carry it but not many.

Have you ever had dr. pepper in the 10oz bottles? (hmmm maybe they were 10 oz bottles!) Have you ever had dr pepper with cane sugar instead of corn syrup?

Dr Pepper is so much more than a "soft drink" here!!!

you used to be able to buy the "real dr pepper..." at the Dublin TX bottling plant... found a link...

http://www.olddocs.com/results.aspx?cat=Drinks&subcat1=Dr+Pepper
they do have a pop up window to calculate shipping, for a $16 product, it would cost me $36 for my true "pepper" "habit"!! (when I went to Dallas for a convention I brought back a bottle of the OTC stuff, and the Dublin Cane Sugar true Pepper - we did a blind taste test at home - ok, now you know I'm weird!! :lmao: Cane Sugar absolutely tastes better!!!

not that *I*'m a fanatic or anything...

There are a few Sonic Drive-In's in Orlando - I'm such a DP addict that my DH tracked them down & took me there for my fix during our last couple of visits. Crossroads Shopping Center did not have DP - we had to go to a Walmart a little further offsite.

Let's start a campaign for DP in the parks! :drinking1

Good luck with that! :teeth:

Coke has an exclusive contract with WDW. No other soft drink is allowed .. period.

If you are staying in a moderate you'll have a small refrigerator in your room. You can rent a small fridge at the values. I would think deluxes would have fridges too. Pack some in your carry on. You'll have drunk it all by the end of your trip and then have room for any souvenirs you might purchase.
