We just had the engagement party, so here's the cake we had for it, it was supposed to be a mad hatter, but the cake maker had never made one before, so she stuffed it up. She offered our money back for it, but was only charging us $100 for it any way, so we prefered to know that she'd been paid for her hard work...

Plus, it was still beautifully decorated, and it grew on me throughout the night.

OMG! Did you go to Bridal and Formal in Cincinnati? I swear the room those pics were taken in looks just like one of their rooms (I called it the veil room). If so, that's where I bought my dress from too!

Honestly I have no idea where I'm getting mine altered at. I live just south of Indianapolis so I'm going to have to find someplace by me. Luckily Indy is a big enough city I'll be able to find something, that and my dress shouldn't need anything more than hemming *crosses fingers*
