Can somebody tell me if the Kraken makes an appearance now? My son (9) won't go on the ride until he knows if the Kraken is there. I suggested we ask a CM, but last time he asked a CM if there was a two headed troll on the ride at Epcot - she said "oh, no- have fun there are no two headed trolls". Well, when the THREE headed troll made his appearance he was very frightened. Now he doesn't trust asking a CM.
So, fellow Disney lovers - can somebody answer this honestly for me?

We rode it last Saturday. I do not remember seeing the Kraken. I think I would have noticed if it had been there but I was with my three kids and my sisters 4 kids and we had our hands full- I guess I could have missed it. Anyone??

Beware though, Davy Jones appears in a "misty waterfall" (as my son calls it) in the beginning and you actually ride through it. This frightened my 4yo ds more than anything- even more than HM.

There is no Kraken, the additions are as mentioned Davy Jones is now before the waterfall, and Jack Sparrow appears in a number of places throughout the ride. If it helps him, arm him with a glow bracelet.

It would be cool if at the end of the ride the Kraken pulled your boat down into the disembarking area.
