I just saw one today for the first time ever. I visited their website. How is the food?

I really LOVE their chicken salad salad. Lettuce, tomato, cucumbers, cranberries, provolone and big scoops of chicken salad with homemade croutons...SO good. It is one my family's favorite easy eats. We don't eat expensive, so it is perfect for us...Great sandwiches too.

We have a Potbelly here but it is near the McCalisters Deli, which we love. I have not eaten at Potbelly.

Might have to before I move back to Missouri this week.:thumbsup2

We usually grab one on a layover at MDW. They are OK.

There are new ones near me. I stopped in one and the menu seemed meh to me.

At least at this one, there was live music and high topped tables. I'm not sure if they are like that for all of the restaurants.

I think it's fine - we eat there once a year maybe if it's convienant. Not my fave sandwich shop, a wee bit pricey too, but fine.

Someone won 'Lunch for the Office' at my work from them. They were pretty good but I haven't gone back, only because it's not a convenient location for me.

We used to go there when we lived near Chicago and really liked the food. Toasted subs seem to be a big thing with them. The kids loved it too. We just got one not too far from us, and it was still pretty good. My sister joined us for dinner the night we went, and she said that she prefers Quiznos. The live music can be fun when they have it. Good ice cream, too. Worth a try, at least.

We have a few near work, and we order in from there a lot. I love their veggie subs (not a big fan of cold cuts). Also, they have one of the best salad dressings around. Not sure which one, because it's delivered to us, but it's a vinagrette. Very yum. And people reportedly love their shakes and smoothies.

However, you're near Philly, right? I don't think it can compare to most Philly places. But for our area where most deli's are mediocre at best, it's not too bad.

Yeah, but I'm always willing to try something new if it is supposed to be good. And I don't think we have many great deli's. Cheesesteak places are a whole other ball of yard, though... we have TONS of great ones.

It's alright. Food portions are a bit conservative though. Whatever sandwich you get, you HAVE to get it with peppers. Makes it all the better.

It's fine. Basic sandwiches, hot or cold. Most are all $4.99. I like them a lot better than Subway--a lot. But they are not gourmet by any means. I was happy to see one in our airport before we went to Orlando. It was decent, cheap food for lunch out of an airport.

I work at Potbelly, so yeah I have to say I love it! I wanted to work there because of the fun atmosphere. Oh yeah and the sandwiches are fun to make and even more fun to eat! :cool1:

I've only been to one, at National Harbor outside DC, and we had salads that were pretty good. I didn't realized the live music was a "thing" for this restaurant.....it was just a girl with a guitar and a LOUD amp and it was thoroughly obnoxious. She didn't need the microphone, the place was that tiny. I really just wanted to finish and get out of there due to that! So if they are all like that, I would not return. But the food was ok and the prices fairly low.

Their Chicken Salad Sub is probably one of my favorite foods. Pair it with a pickle, BBQ chips and a Coke... :cloud9:

Both DH and I really like Potbellys. It is one of our favorite "fast" food places to eat.

I ate there once and it was okay. Ours had high tables and low tables for highchairs. I do remember it is smal inside, but they had a few tables outside. They do have live music sometimes. I am thinking they do not have kids meals, but offer a peanut butter and jelly sub.

Yep I really like the chicken salad salad.

We have a lot of friends who really like it, we think it's just ok. Really think it's the individual store though. They have a lot of immediate competition with Jimmy John's, Subway, Jersey Mike's, Panera and Five Guys in the same location though, so maybe we should give it another try~
