We are finalizing our dining plans for May. Thinking about changing our Kona dinner to 'Ohana. We have not eaten dinner there ('Ohana) since 2006. Can anyone tell me if they got rid of those cheesy potatoes. My family loved them, but I think I remember reading that changes were being made to the menu. I know the shrimp are back on the skewers and there are pot stickers instead of the chips, right? Can anyone tell me if the potatoes are gone too?

Yes they have replaced the cheesy potatoes with noodles. I thought the potatoes were good but really didn't fit the Polynesian theme.

Thanks! Has anyone had the noodles? Are they good? I realize the cheesy potatoes were not very authentic to the theme, but they were so good. :goodvibes

We ate there in August '08 and loved the noodles - like a lo mein type dish.

The noodles are fair at best, but with the dipping sauces, they are at least edible. We still miss the potatoes but it won't stop us from going back to Ohana.
