Potato Head Bride & Grooms ????

I am a new-b to boards and I am sorry for posting this here, but was not sure where to post my question.... I read a post awhile back (can't find again) and it talked about potato head parts that were brides and grooms and how many pieces would fit into a box. I have no clue what they were talking about.
We will be going to DW in Sept celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and would like to buy them as souviners, could someome explain why you buy by the boxes and where I find them?????? Thanks...

You might do a search for mr potato head and you will probably find some posts.. I remember there being some posts about the different places to find them.. Basically there are little islands in different stores and around this island there are different sections.. each section has a different Mr Potato Head part.. such as different feet, noses, eyes, arms, hats, etc.. The box is $18 and you basically pay $18 to fill it up.. this is where imagination comes in.. you can manuever the pieces into the box to get more pieces.. basically the box has to close .. you can buy an actual potato head but it takes up a major part of the box.. although there is the compartment in the back that you can stuff pieces into, but you can usually find a cheap one at a Walmart back at home.. I do think I remember seeing bride and groom pieces when we were there in March.. There are mickey ears, sorcerer mickey ears with hat, we bought the special arms that hold items and bought a mickey balloon, a mickey autograph book, a disneyworld/land suitcase and mickey icecream bar.. We stayed at Pop Century in March and they had a mini island there but not too many pieces.. My DD8 bought hers in September last year at a store that was closeby Dinosaur in AK.. but I know there are places all over the different parks..

At Downtown Disney Marketplace, there is a store called Once Upon a Toy. This store is essentially a giant toy store. When you enter from the front of the store, there is a giant Mr Potato Head display full of different parts that you can purchase.

You get a box and you're allowed to fill it up with as many parts as you can fit in the box for $18.00+tax. There are different hats, feet, accessories like mickey head balloons, mickey head camera, popcorn box, etc. There are also special MPH arms that will work with these accessories. You can fill your box with a potato head or if you want more room in the box for parts (as you'll need it with the groom and bride hats) then leave out the potato and just fill the box with parts.

Just a warning... you can get addicted to buying MPH parts since they keep coming out with new ones all the time!
