Pot Roast in a Slow Cooker?

Super easy "Italian Beef"

3-4 lb. round roast
1 jar (12 - 16 oz.?) Giardinara, Mild or Hot

Place both ingredients in the crockpot and cook on low 7-8 hours. Shred meat with fork and serve on French bread rolls.
(left overs freeze well too!)

Beef Stew

1 1/2 lb. beef stew meat
1 can Italian diced tomatoes
1 can beef broth
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 cup carrots
1 can whole, peeled potatoes, cut up

Put the first 5 ingredients in the crock pot and cook on low 7 hours. Last 1/2 hour, add the cut up potatoes. Serve in bowls.

We just had pot roast in the crock pot for dinner.

Here's what I did-
Spray crock pot with Mazola No-stick

Half a bag of baby carrots go in first
4 peeled and cubed potatoes
3 ribs celery chopped
a bit of onion
chuck roast- English cut 2.88 pounds
Pour a can of beef broth over the top.

Put on lid and cook on high for 7 hours.

Remove meat and veggies a half hour before serving and thicken with flour and water to make gravy.
