Absolutely LOVING the eticket app!! Hands down the most full featured Disney app out there! I put my trip info in this morning and read reviews for all the restaurants!! The only thing I wish we had...and maybe i'm just missing it....is a search feature for the restaurants/rides(for those of us who sometimes forget what park or section they are in) I also can't wait to be more active on the boards!!! Other than that, not much to be upset about!!! Great work Pete, Cory, and DIS team!!!

The map does have a search feature as well as the ability to filter your search by area. So you can say, "Show me Hamburger locations near Adventureland".

In terms of finding your car, if eTicket is inside one of the US parks, it activated the GPS. You can create a custom pin at your current location (your car, your room, a favorite picture spot, whatever) and name it, notate it, and save it. That GPS icon is a blue star, and a custom GPS point is a red star.

The blue star will only show up in the parks, but once you create a Custom POI red star, it will stay on your map until you delete it. You can filter by Custom POI as well once you get enough to make it worthwhile.

Mine isn't working. This is the curse that is my life. Everyone else is off and running; I have problems.

I get the purple screen with the yellow star and the E-Ticket words. Underneath that it says, "Disney World." Under that is a little circle made out of lines that glow in a circle motion.

And under all that, in yellow font, it says, "Updating database. This may take a few moments."

But nothing ever happens. The little circle just keeps circling. I'm starting to hate that little circle.

Please make sure you go to http://www.eticketapp.com/support and enter a support ticket. That's where the app developers are monitoring any issues and will be able to help you directly.

You've got a really slow network connection or not much patience!

eTicket is downloading the startup set of Point of Interest, it will only do this the first time you start eTicket. After this initial download, eTicket will start right away. This "Updating Database" screen could last anywhere between 10, 20, 30 seconds depending on your internet speed. 2G is gonna be real slow.

Contact me via the eticketapp.com site if you're still running into issues, but this should really be just a wait it out-type of thing.
