The other day I had to research something in my class on the computer. Well our teacher was not looking and i tryed to go on vmk. Well it was blocked. Then I tryed dis and it worked!

Just be careful. I logged on my dad's laptop to Dis and then every time my mom tried to get on it would come up with my name as logged in. Until you clear the history you will be automatically logged into Dis if anyone else goes on it. Just wanted to give you a heads up, not sure if the school cleans the computers.

uh.............. so you just have the skills to let the district firewall "drop"????? cause i'm assuming that's not as simple as disabling a single computer's firewall, which basically anyone can do........................... and if i'm ever on the computer and feel that ever-lasting urge to be on the dis, well, i'll fight it cause if some other student saw me........................ i'd hate to think what they'd say................................ not that i'd even care....................

What's the point of disabling a computer's firewall? How about both even related. By hacking I meant hacking myself into admin status and unblocking stuff.

Do you not think these things are viewable by your districts' computer logs? It's easily identifiable as long as they know what they are doing.

oh.................... yeah, i'm about a 6 on the computer-techy scale of 10.................

If you dont care then why did you say you wont do it?

cause while i don't care what other kids say, i do care about mantaining a high GPA (most of the little (insert an insult of your choice) in my computer room class would have the teachers on me faster than you can say, "The Dis rocks!")

Nano, I don't know your school district or their policies, but at my high school anyway, if anyone impersonated an admin or school official (electronically or otherwise) OR if anyone did anything to alter computers, it was grounds for automatic suspension and possible expulsion. We didn't have to log into computers either, but yet kids still got busted for these kinds of things.

My advice: playing VMK a few extra times a week is not worth risking getting kicked out of school over. Just something to think about.

Nanoer! That's low! anyways, my computer teacher in 6th grade had the voice of a bomb going off, and if ANYONE messed with him, oh boy let me not go into detail!

(P.S: he had us and our parents sign a "contract" saying we wouldn't go on any other site other then what he instructed, no matter what the rating. my tip: dont mess with him.)
