Thought this was neat I can post from my PS3

Boy, those thing certain provide the bang for your bucks.

I was shocked! I will have to get out the PS2 keyboard next time it took me almost 10 minutes just to post that little phrase, and forget about punctuation I couldn't figure that out either. I can get onto VMK.com but can't get the log in page to come up, so I can't say either way if it can play it. I was just tinkering around with it last night and realized I could post here.

wii can do this too and in march can run vmk

Is there an everlasting battle between Wii and PS3? Whats the point of posting that in here? Thats just saying that Wii is better than PS3.

Anyways glad you can do that sassymom, I hope when I get 1 I can too

Much like the war between Heaven and Hell lol

Plus which system is causing more injuries and is now sewing the company :rolleyes1

I'm kind of scared of the PS3. There was one really good launch title, and that was Resistence. The rest run better on the 360, and the graphics are comparable between the two systems. If a console is delayed this much, there better be some sweet graphics to back up the claim of "TEH ULTIMA CONSOLE!"

Internet functionality seems to be something that most consoles are getting into now, but my fear is that this want for new features will leave out the real purpose of a console: to play good games. I hope my fear is incorrect.

And yes, the WiiS3 battle has been raging for a while. Partly because I posted my whole "revelation about the controls" a while back. Also because there's always going to be those who sold their soul to Nintendo, and those who sold their soul to Sony, and each will enter in grand combat to, in their own minds, decide who the winner of the console war is. Even though nothing determines that except sales, system capabilities, and games. Only 5 more years 'till another wave, and another 5 year war.

whoa doggies Raine in those horses!

I do not think posting that you can post from the Wii is bashing the PS3 and attacks as such need to stop. It was just a comment that the Wii can do it also.

If the snide remarks on either side of the fence continue this thread will be closed.

Never meant to make it into a system war....I was just up late one night tinkering with the internet browser and thought it was neat that I could post here. As for the key board, any usb one worked on PS2 so I would think the same for PS3 you may want to check it out. We bought the PS2 one only to find out we could have used one of our spare computer ones. I haven't yet tried Wii so I can't compare the two I am sure they're both amazing, and simply said to each his own. My DH sold his soul to Sony long ago and refuses to try anything new, I guess its just a comfort thing. I bought him a 360 when he was bummed about not being able to find a PS3 in our area. Ever since he got his PS3 the 360 has turned into a very expensive Pac Man game.:lmao: I am hopinh PS3 will find a way for us to play VMK I would love to be able to play on the big tv instead of the lap top, here's hoping...

I wove the 360 arcade it reminds me of the olden days of gameing (considered to some as the dark days of gaming). And I was gaming since the gensis I love the old basic games over the pretty graphix of the new-gen systems.

But all the systems have their +'s and -'s I would love to have all three systems to create the ultimete gameing triangle.

I find it really neat that you can post from your PS3 though :).

Also to birdman's post I have this to say I have a computer and it could run internet years before the Wii could :thumbsup2:.

I was so excited to see Ms Pac man added to the list!!:woohoo: We have both Pac Mans, Frogger, and a few others along with some other games like Uno and Backgammon. I love the arcade, I too enjoy some of the games I played growing up rather than ones like Fall of Man. Don't get me wrong I enjoy new games also but those aliens scare the daylights out of me at certain times when he is playing that game. Imagine what the systems will be like in another 20 years, I remember all to well playing Bubble Bobble on the first Nintendo system as a little girl with graphics that wowed us then, and what a difference from todays systems.

That sounds really cool. :thumbsup2

I hope it is easier than doing it on the Wii...

True I agree with birdman the wii also uses a browser of it'sown operah or somehow spelled like that for free I do like the PS3 tho I played it today at WalMart those graphics own!

Just a correction:

Opera is not Nintendo's design, and is not Wii-sclusive. I believe either Mac or PC have been/will be using this in a short while.

I will agree, the PS3 has some really amazing graphics, but I'm going to say something that 'Yo stole from me a while ago:

"I could care less about graphics. Infact, if a company made a game that was 2D (god forbid) with great gameplay, I would plop down $50 bucks on the spot."

See: Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Some of the best games ever have bad graphics (they were older,) but now it's like a those games are being shunned because the graphics are older. If you listen can't play older games, doesn't the same rule follow that you can't listen to older music? Watch old TV shows? See old movies? I ask you this, anyone who favours graphics to gameplay, as you wait for the newest graphics, will you not miss some real gems? I appreciate graphics as much as the next (Oblivion is one of the most beautiful and fun games I've seen in a LONG time,) but I still play Morrowind, UT2004, and Castlevania: SOTN.
